Spartan Frost is a spin-off novella. And indeed it is. I mean, it's not a must read although it's entertaining. While the battles-lite are fun to read, Logan frustrates me. A lot. I mean, suck it up and snap out of your misery, okay? You are Logan freaking Quinn, the strongest Spartan yet, and you can't get over your guilt and stand up again? Jeez. Not that I don't like him anymore, but he makes me think he's a coward.
There are also glimpses of what Logan feels about Gwen. Not much, and that's a little disappointing. But with all the frustration rolling, I think it's a good thing not to add more fuel to my burning irritation. I won't go against it, but I won't strongly recommend this novella to you especially if you are not a big fan of Logan (I happen to be one of those who are NOT Logan's fan)
