4 Series That Should Not Be Made Into Movies

People are worried about if the books will be ruined by movies. And that's not the only reason why people don't want a movie based on movies. Well, some books should not be made into movies, I think. Remember, this is just my opinion. And all of these are adapted.

1. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

Seriously, this is the worst idea. I mean, don't you find really absurd of actually seeing the story played by a bunch of Hollywood actors and actresses? The story is normal by human standards, just an innocent woman who falls for an attractive man who is a little bit sadistic. It's normal enough, yes. But what do you think about the trend? Dystopia novels like The Hunger Games, Divergent, Delirium, Uglies. Paranormal novels like The Mortal Instruments and Beautiful Creatures have a much better plot and more exciting story.

And really, what's with the... kinky fuckery (is that what it's called?)? I just can't imagine what it will be like when it hit the big screens. I think I would hurl if I actually see it in theaters because... this is the last book that should be made into a movie. Seriously, this is bad news.

2. House of Night by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast

I'm not a hater of this series. But comparing it with The Vampire Academy (I am not a fan of VA, but even I know about the craziness out there) and even The Vampire Diaries, I don't think that's a good idea. I think y'all know about that there is an army of haters of HON. I seriously doubt that it's gonna be as popular as The Vampire Diaries. Yes, the plot is very different from The Vampire Diaries and even The Vampire Academy. There's very little bloodlust and it's more like... a dystopian novel. But the plot is simply just not as addicting as the others. And the characters... well they are a little bit too innocent. What people like is a rather complicated situation.

And the main thing about the series that will certainly be ruined by the movie, is that it lasts way too freaking long. There are what, ten books out in stores already, and the series still hasn't been finished. How will you imagine when there's a movie? It will last like, more than 10 years? And it's YA novel for crying out loud. The characters are supposed to be young.

Some also said that House of Night should be made into a TV series instead of movie. That's a slightly better idea, but I still don't really wanna see it happen. The reason? I really think that the TV series will last even longer than the movie, not the time itself, but the plot. I hate to see the plot being stretch into a long think strip, and the story is long enough.

3. Fallen by Lauren Kate

I kinda like this series, really. Fallen is quite good and relatively peaceful. But perhaps the peace is the reason that Fallen shouldn't be made into a movie. I think if I had to choose between Fallen and Hush Hush, I will definitely choose Hush Hush. I understand the good things about the book. The natural scenes will be beautiful, especially in Rapture. The love shared between Luce and Daniel is remarkable. I get that. But Fallen is seriously not the most popular books in USA now. People have moved on to something more powerful.

And there's a post in IMDb about Fallen. And you know what? I seriously doubt that Fallen will actually be developed into a movie because there's still no news from Disney Pictures. What takes them so long? The time is long enough and if there's still no news from them, the franchise will eventually fade away. So why should we have a Fallen movie if the craziness is already fading away and nothing is helping Fallen from the falling popularity?

4. Wings by Aprilynne Pike

It's about faeries. Yes, it's not the most normal thing happen on big screens. But I think The Iron Fey is much better. Not just the plot itself but also the writing skills. I mean, seriously, if The Immortal Rules is gonna be made into a film, why shouldn't The Iron Fey? And yeah, Wings is not that bad. But it's not suitable for a movie. The plot is just not exciting enough. And the characters are too naive, and a little bit stupid. I mean, what's with the relationship between Laurel and David? I am seriously not a big fan of Tamani. And for some reason I just don't wanna see it happen. Not just because the movie may ruin the book, but also the book is just not good enough and not popular enough.

(P.S. I really want The Iron Fey movie. I am thrilled by that idea. If Blood of Eden series by Julie Kagawa is going to be a movie, then there should be The Iron Fey movie. I will be excited to see Ash and Meghan and Puck on screen).

3 Series That Should DEFINITELY Be Made into Movies, And YA Books that WILL be Made into Movies

A kind-of-lame-version of teen.com style is now rolling...

A big year is coming for our YA fans, coz there are tons of bestselling YA books are gonna hit the big screens in 2013. You want the list? After this article you will see. But right now, there are also tons of novels that SHOULD be made into movies, because they don't have the movie adaptation despite the fact that they are super awesome.

And another thing is that we will not show the series that have the film adaptation (Not even Infernal Devices)

1. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

I think most of the fans are gonna agree that Hush, Hush should hit the world's big screens. Because seriously, this is one of the most famous YA series in the whole world, this will be a great move if there will be a Hush, Hush movie. Even Fallen(Lauren Kate) has the film adaptation. So Why not Hush, Hush? Guess all the fans will go crazy (with a capital K) when Hush Hush's gonna be made into a film. And just imagine how hot Patch will be

2. Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Maybe this series is not as well-known as The Mortal Instruments, but this one definitely has the potential to be on the box office top list if they are made into movies. Because this is fairly unique in the YA world. Look at the top YA books, they are always about mystical creatures (like vamps and fallen angels and werewolves) or dystopian world. Not that they are not good(In fact, look at TMI and Divergent, they are worldwide success). But Lux is about aliens that we can never imagine they exists even in our dreams. This is new. And this is gonna be one of the most unique thing on not just YA world, but the whole Hollywood box office.

3. Angel by L.A. Weatherly

Among all the 3 series, this is the most unknown one. I don't think many of our YA fans even know about this series. But you will love this one if you start reading Angel. This is one of the purest perfection of all time. The author can carry out Willow's toughness in a lovable way, and Alex is, well, not just a hot talented guy, but an AK (Angel Killer). This will have a good effect on Hollywood's box office. But the biggest reason of all, is that the author twists the angels. She makes them bad guys, feeding of people and make people sick and insane, or even death. Most of the books always say that angels are good guys. That they help people. Or at least they will not be so badass. But this is new. The angels in this book are enemies to us. They should be destroyed. And it will be a great battle. So why not carry out on big screens? It will be a good one, I can tell.

What do you guys think? How is this list?

And now it's the developing/coming YA movies:

1. Fallen by Lauren Kate (Okay seriously I just can't get what's wrong with the whole casting cuz there is no actors or actress that have been cast. I just don't get what's going on)

2. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones by Cassandra Clare (This. Is. Gonna. Be. My. Favorite. One. In. 2013. I just can't wait!)

3. Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (Another good book. This film will be release in February, 2013)

4. Delirium by Lauren Oliver (A great dystopia series. The war for love is gonna be huge)

5. Divergent by Veronica Roth (The greatest dystopia series of all time. Better than Hunger Games, and it's gonna be RUTHLESS)

6. Fifty Shades of Grey by E.J.James (Well, I can say nothing about it. I am not a big fan of Fifty Shades)

7. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater (I am not that obsess with Shiver as much as The Mortal Instruments, but I will be really interested in it)

8. The Iron Trial by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black (This is the most exasperating of all. The first book of The Iron Trial hasn't even out yet until 2014, so what is with the film adaptation?)

9. House of Night by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast  (Well I like this series but I don't think it's really good enough to be made into movies)

10. Wings by Aprilynne Pike (Yeah well I don't know if I should be happy or not despite the fact I kinda like Wings)

11. The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare (Another exciting one even though the title has not been developed yet. I can see the title The Infernal Devices: Clockwork Angel in my mind. This is gonna be huge, and I can't wait to see who's gonna play Will, Jem, and Tess)

12. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White (I am not that obsess with Paranormalcy.)

13. Tempest by Julie Cross (I want to read it but I haven't got time)

What do you think that should be made into movies?
