Synopsis:
The past few years have
held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have
anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing
low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer
deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.
Since
discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods,
Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that
follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving
town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California -
and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that
started her on this journey in the first place.
As Clara makes
her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the
fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not
the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming,
Clara knows she must finally fulfil her destiny. But it won’t come
without sacrifices and betrayal.
In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all.

(I will try to be spoiler-free on this one because the book isn't out for 24 hours yet)
Now, the really stunning finale of Unearthly Trilogy. The glorious ending of an awesome series. Very glorious indeed. You have no idea how good the book is until you read it. With an HEA ending too. Just what I need.
Clara has grown up throughout Boundless. And I like her more and more throughout the book. She's not the slightly scared girl in Unearthly anymore. She can surely take care of it when facing live-or-death decisions. And she can certainly make her own decisions between two boys she holds dear most. She faces her own destiny without fear. I'm really glad that she's matured in many ways through the obstacles she encounters in the book. And in the end, I'm glad that she chooses the boy that is truly right for her.
The book is full of action-packed scenes and fights. Each one is harder and harder to get through. And each obstacle are swirled with all kinds of emotions. Good ones and bad ones. Relief, depression, anger, happiness, disappointment, devastation, etc. They are tightly tangled up with the challenges Clara and her friends faced up. There are unexpected allies and enemies too. They have to choose between trusting and not trusting one person. Seeing the characters grow up and learn the truth of their purpose is the best way to end the trilogy. The only slight flaw about the book is the slightly slow start. But it's nothing compare to the beauty of the whole story.
I'm glad and really sad at the same time that the trilogy is over because it's such pure beauty and perfection. Angel-bloods walking on Earth and fulfilling their purposes is a great background for the trilogy itself. The storyline developed smoothly throughout the book. Each book is filled with unexpected obstacles, allies, enemies, and emotions. This is truly stunning. I'm so happy that I read Unearthly in the first place. I hope Cynthia Hand will come up with more awesome ideas and books in the future.
And if there's any short stories about the trilogy, I'm so going to read it.
Rating: 10/10 (Well, it's hard not to give a full mark for the book)

The end is here! I'm sad that it has to end because Unearthly is such an extraordinary series. But then everything has to end eventually.

Just so you know, I'm still SO Team Tucker even after his... douche-baggery towards Clara in the excerpt. Team Christian is just not available to me no matter how hard I try to like him.

Radiant: Review
So much feels in Radiant!
Summary:
From New York Times bestselling author Cynthia Hand comes a riveting original novella (available only as an ebook) set in the world of the Unearthly series.
Clara is desperate to get away—from the memories that haunt her in Wyoming and the visions of a future she isn't ready to face—and spending the summer in Italy with her best friend, Angela, should be the perfect escape. . . .
For as long as she can remember, Angela has been told that love is dangerous, that she must always guard her heart. But when she met a mysterious guy in Italy two years ago she was determined to be with him, no matter the costs. Now she must decide whether she can trust Clara with her secret, or if telling her the truth will risk everything she cares about.
Alternating between Angela and Clara's perspectives, Radiant chronicles the unforgettable summer that will test the bounds of their friendship and change their lives forever.

Part of this post will about the review, and another part of this post is about part of my PoV's about Boundless.
I will keep the review short, because this is a short novella.
So it's about the trip in Italy, and told in Angela's and Clara's point of view. I love this kind of management. It's kinda fun to see the world in Angela's perspective, you know? I can finally get why she is so "intense".
And there is this Phen guy/angel. And you know what? The last sentence of Radiant scares me. Why Clara will regret this after when she doesn't tell Angela what she saw in Phen? I smell something bad will happen in Boundless.
Radiant is just as good as Unearthly and Hallowed, even though it's just a novella. This book makes me more eager to read Boundless. And the writing style of Cynthia Hand stays fresh. I love it.
Rating: 8.5/10

And then there's an excerpt of Boundless in Radiant. And man, did that ever broke me like that. I want Tucker with Clara, okay? They are so right together. I swear to you woman, if you don't make them together, I will rip you into pieces. Not that I don't like Christian. It's just that he's not right for her. Tucker is. So yeah, that's all I have to say up to now.
Boundless will be released on January 22nd, 2013
